Bit Part Now Available in UK Store

Attention UK customers — our UK store is now stocking Bit Part bitbox and accessories.

Our friends at Bit Part make some of the industry’s easiest-to-use remote camera control products, and their flagship devices, bitbox and bitbox mini, are the only FCC, ISED, and CE-compliant products on the market.

XMP and XMP C Series Firmware Updates

We’re proud to announce the release of Firmware v3.2.04 for XMP and XMP C.

• Vastly enhanced granularity for manual RGB gain controls. Scale now operates from -150 to +150, compared to the previous -50 to +50 range, and now allows for much smaller steps between adjustments.
• More custom luminance selections added. Specifically, 48nits has been added as a selectable target, as well as more granular 1nit selections between 80 and 120nits. The rest of the range remains selectable in 20nit increments as before.
• Added 8K UHD and 8K DCI signal support*
• Added UHD and 4K DCI p50/60 support at 4:4:4*
• *8K DCI and 4K DCI are currently only supported via 2SI, whereas 8K UHD and UHD are supported via both SQD and 2SI.

DM Series Firmware Updates

We’ve also released Firmware v2.0.00-2380 for DM monitors.

• Bug fix: Resolves an issue that could cause excessively slow monitor boot times (up to ~40 seconds) when the monitor’s LAN port is connected directly to a host computer.
• Bug fix: resolves flashing screen bug on DM242 monitor shutdown.
