NAB 2025 Recap

This year’s NAB was one for the books! We were proud to share our booth with our fantastic partners, Nobe Omniscope and MediaLight, who helped create a dynamic and engaging space for attendees.

It marked the first trade show appearance of our new XMP270 and DM242 displays, and the response was incredible. A special shoutout to Gehan Abdelhalem, who walked away with a brand new DM242 at the always-unmissable Colorist Mixer. Congrats, Gehan!

Bram Desmet, CEO and GM of Flanders Scientific recently participated in a great interview with Larry Jordan at NAB diving into the intricacies of reference monitoring and HDR.

HDR/SDR Simultaneous Monitoring

FSI generally encourages HDR and SDR signals to be displayed on separate monitors to allow for better visual adaptation. However, for space, weight, or budget reasons we often get requests from DITs that would like to provide simultaneous monitoring of HDR and SDR signals on the same screen at the same time.

To help facilitate such workflows we are now providing a free HDR/SDR Simultaneous Monitoring LUT package download that can be used on XMP series displays for a variety of HDR + SDR simultaneous viewing scenarios.
