Direct Spectroradiometer Support for DM Series AutoCal

DM Series AutoCal now directly supports the Colorimetry Research CR250 and CR300 spectroradiometers! While AutoCal with a spectroradiometer is slower than using a colorimeter this new capability is a great option for Colorimetry Research spectro-radiometer owners that:

• Only own a spectroradiometer, but not a colorimeter.
• Don’t want to worry about creating display specific matrices.
• Aren’t as concerned about calibration speed and just want very accurate calibration results with the least amount of effort.

CR250 / CR300 support is available with monitor firmware build 2.0.00-2356, now available for free download here.

AutoCal with colorimeters takes anywhere from 6 to 18 minutes depending on the probe and monitor combination. AutoCal with a spectroradiometer will take anywhere from 50 to 90 minutes depending on the exact probe and monitor combination.
