Experience a bevy of powerful new features with this free public beta of a major new update for XMP series monitors. Here’s what you can look forward to:
Learn more about each of these exciting new features below:
Effortlessly manage multi-camera setups with our enhanced Quad View mode. Display 4 HD input signals simultaneously or toggle to full-screen to focus on any input with a single button press. Best of all, quad view mode no longer requires upstream gen-lock synchronization. Simply connect 4 sources of the same frame rate and the monitor handles the rest.
Say goodbye to extra equipment with this simpler and easier to use quad view mode.
The XMP series features 4 clean loop-throughs and 4 processed MON outputs—one for each input.
Save and preview a unique Look LUT per input on-screen, now with the additional ability to output all 4 independent MON outputs with their respective LUTs applied concurrently.
Effortlessly convert single-link 4K or UHD signals to 2K or HD for downstream monitors/scopes with real-time quarter-sample resolution downconversion on each of the 4 processed MON outputs. This capability has been updated with a simpler and more robust single menu selection to turn on UHD -> HD downscaling, replacing the more complex Mode selection of previous builds.
Real-time integration* with Pomfort’s Livegrade adds even more control, enabling seamless real-time Look LUT updates, now with support for UHD/4K sources as well as HD signals.
*Real-time Look LUT support between LiveGrade and XMP series is currently limited to SDI 1 input
Addition of Monochrome, Blue Only, Red Only, and Green Only Viewing Modes. Blue Only, Red Only, and Green Only modes can be viewed in their respective colors or as Mono (e.g. Blue as Mono).
These new monitoring modes can be very useful in QC and engineering applications.
Scopes have been updated for broader 4K, UHD, and HDR compatibility. Choose from percentage or PQ nits graticules for precise color and exposure management, now with support for both Full Range and Video Range signals.
